A high court having jurisdiction over Uttar Pradesh is known as High Court of Judicature at Allahabad or Allahabad High Court. It was started in 1950. It is located at Allahabad and is authorized by the Constitution of India. Its permanent bench is at Lucknow with 3 ex-officio jurists. It has the highest seat of sanction judges with 160 judges. Its decision can be appealed to Supreme Court of India.
Applications are invited for vacancy in the Uttar Pradesh Higher Judicial Services. For this, only Indian Nationals can apply. Mode of application is online only and applications send through any other means will not be accepted. Candidates can apply between 1st April 2012 to 30th April 2012. Age limit: Candidates applying for this post should be above 35 years of age and should be below 45 years of age.
Eligibility: The candidates should be an advocate of not less than 7 years standing on 1st January 2013.
Selection will be based on objective type preliminary examination which is going to be held on 30th June 2012 at Allahabad. After clearing this preliminary exam, shortlisted candidates will be called for main examination and at last for an interview. Documents which has to be send along with printout of the system generated application form are self attested photocopies of 10th class certificate, degree/ diploma certificate, registration in Bar Council, copy of experience as an Advocate, caste certificate, character certificate, 2 self addressed stamped envelops and copy of counterfoil of bank challan.
