Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited or BMRCL is an agency responsible for the implementation of Bangalore Metro. Bangalore Metro is also known as Namma Metro. The very first route of Bangalore metro was started on 20th October 2011 between Baiyyappanahalli and M.G. Road. Head office of BMRCL is located at Shantinagar of Bangalore. BMRCL is a joint venture of Government of India and Government of Karnataka. Bangalore Metro has high security for the protection of people.
BMRCL needs experienced and dedicated staffs for various posts of officers in different grade and positions. So, interested and eligible candidates with the required qualification and experience can come for an interview which will start from 2nd March 2012 and it will continue till 31st March 2012 that is on 2nd, 3rd, 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th, 30th and 31st March 2012 at BMRCL Head Office, 3rd Floor, BMTC Complex, K.H. Road, Shantinagar, Bangalore-560027. The following positions are on contract basis. Only Indian Nationals can apply.
Total 5 vacancies are available. out of these, 1 post each is for Chief Engineer in Deigns department, Chief Accounts Officers, Deputy General manager in F&A, Officer in Property Development Department and Stores Officer.
Eligibility: candidates applying for Chief Engineer should be less than 65 years and should posses the degree of BE/ B.Tech with graduation in civil engineering. Membership of at least any one national institute of relevant discipline is essential. Maximum 50 years of age is required for Chief Accounts Officer and DGM position and also he/ she should be graduate with minimum 5 years of post qualification experience. Candidates should also be a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Candidates applying for Officer should not be more than 40 years and should posses degree of M.Com/ MBA in Finance with at least 4 years of post qualification experience. Maximum 40 years of age and graduation in engineering is essential for Store Officer.
Salary: Rs.90000/- per month is for Chief Engineer, while DGM and Chief Accounts Officer will get salary of Rs.55000/- per month. Rs.40000/- per month is fixed for Officer and Stores Officer.
A new vacancy notification has been released in the official website of BMRCL. BMRCL invites applications from Indian Nationals for various posts. 17 vacancies are for the post of Section Engineer, 35 are for Junior Engineer, 58 are for Maintainers, 53 are for Station Controller, 55 posts are for Train Operator, 6 are for Custom Relation Manager and 2 posts are for Assistant in Finance department.
