The High Court of India with the jurisdiction for the state of Maharashtra and Goa and the union territories of Daman & Diu and Nagar Haveli is known as Bombay High Court. It was established in 1862. Its original jurisdiction is at Mumbai. It is authorised by the Constitution of India and its decisions can be appealed to Supreme Court of India. The sanctioned strength of High Court of Bombay is 75 judges. Its regional benches are located at Aurangabad, Panaji and Nagpur of Maharashtra.
Online applications are invited from Indian Nationals for the post of Clerks in the High Court of Judicature at Bombay. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online before 16th April 2012. Applications send through any other means will not be accepted.
Post of Clerk are vacant. Under this post, select list is for 250 posts and wait list of 250 candidates.
Eligibility: Candidates age should be more than 18 years and even should be less than 33 years. Graduation in any discipline is essential for this post. Candidates should have passed Government Commercial Certificate Examination or Examination conducted by Government Board or ITI for Typing in English with speed of 40 words per minute.
Candidates has to go through a screening/ written test of 20 marks which will consist of questions base on general knowledge, computer knowledge and general English. After clearing this test, shortlisted candidates has to appear in English typing test for 20 marks on computer only. And at last selected candidates will be called for an interview. Selected candidates will get salary under the pay scale of Rs.5200-20200/- with grade pay of Rs.1900/-.
