Border Security Force Recruitment 2012
A border patrol agency of India is Border Security Force and is popularly known as BSF. It was formed by the Government of India under the administrative control of ministry of Home Affairs on 1st December 1965. It is a law enforcement agency of India. Its head quarter is located at New Delhi. At present, it consists of 187 battalions with 250000 personnel. The main responsibility of BSF is to safeguard the country especially on border areas and prevent the country from transnational crimes for maintaining peace in country. BSF has its own Air Wing, Marine Wing and Artillery Regiments for the smooth functioning of the force.
Border Security Force has open the door of its organization for young and dedicated candidates. Interested and eligible candidates who are citizens of India can grab this chance by applying in a prescribed format. Candidates has to submit application form personally before 11th June 2012. Selection of the candidates will be based on written test, trade test and Medical Examination.
3277 vacancies are for the post of Constables in various trades of cobbler, tailor, khoji, mali, waiter, sweeper, barber, washerman, carpenter, painter, tin smith, cook, WC and kahar under the pay scale of Rs.5200-20200/- along with grade pay of Rs.2000/- per month. Minimum 18 years and maximum 23 years of age is required. Candidates should have passed matriculation examination along with 2 years of working experience in the relevant trade.
