FACT Recruitment 2012 for Trade Apprentices
A fertilizer and chemical manufacturing company in Kerala is The Fertilizers and Chemicals Travancore Limited. It is commonly known as FACT. It was established by the Government of India and is ISO 14001 certified. It is one of the largest chemical manufacturing company in Kerala. It is basically involved in manufacturing and marketing of fertilizers, chemicals, engineering consultancy and fabrication of equipments.
Applications are invited by FACT from Indian Nationals for the post of trade apprentices in various trades. Interested candidates who find themselves eligible can come for an interview on 23rd February 2012 and 24th February 2012. Candidates has to bring original as well as attested Xerox copies of certificates of caste, birth certificate, mark sheets ITI certificate and recent passport size photographs. Total 76 posts are vacant for Trade Apprentices for the trade of carpenter, mechanic diesel, plumber, welder, COPA, machinist, electrician, instrument mechanic and fitter. For this post, candidates age should not be more than 23 years and should posses ITI or ITC certificate in the relevant trade.
Stipend: Fitter, machinist, electrician, instrument mechanic will get stipend of Rs.1970/- per month while welder and COPA will get Rs.1700/- per month as stipend. Plumber, carpenter and mechanic will get stipend of Rs.1700/- per month during 1st years and Rs.1970/- per month during 2nd year.
Selection will be through written test and interview. Written test will be of objective and will be conducted at FACT Training Centre at Kochi. Written test for the post of fitter, plumber, COPA, machinist, welder, carpenter and diesel mechanic will be on 23rd February 2012 and it will be on 24th February 2012 for the post of electrician and instrument mechanic.
