The law enforcement agency of the state of Haryana is Haryana Police. It was formed by the Government of Haryana under the direct control of Department of Home Affairs. AT present, Haryana Police has a strength of 56700 employees including officers and inspectors. It is headed by the Director General of Police. Its head quarter is located at Panchkula. Haryana police invites applications from Indian Nationals for the post of constables as computer operator. Only male candidates can apply and that too latest by 28th February 2012 by sending an application form in a prescribed format to the address of the respective district police office. Total 1000 vacancies are for the post of Constables [ Computer Operator ]. Out of these, 150 are for Ex-Serviceman, 80 posts are for BC-B, 140 are for BC-A, 450 posts are for general category and rest 180 are for SC candidates.
Pay scale: Selected candidates will get salary under the pay scale of Rs.5200-20200/- along with grade pay of Rs.2000/-.
Qualification: Candidates should have passed 12th class from Haryana Board of School Education and also should posses certificate of state eligibility test in computer appreciation and application held by HARTRON.
Age limit: Candidates age should be between 18-25 years.
Physical Measurement: Minimum 5’7” of height, 33” of chest unexpanded [ 34.5” expanded ] is required.
For final selection, candidates has to appear in various test like Physical measurement Test, Physical Efficiency Test and Interview. At last after interview, candidates has to go undergo a medical examination.
