One of the oldest and largest engineering company of India is Heavy Engineering Corporation. It is commonly known as HEC. It was setup in 1958 by the Government of India under the Ministry of Heavy Industries. It is involved in the manufacturing and supply of capital equipments along with machine tools and spare parts for core sector industries. HEC also go for casting & forging, fabrication, machining, assembly and testing of their own products. It has three units namely-heavy Machine Building Plant, Foundry Forge Plant and Heavy Machine Tools Plant. It is located at Ranchi and is ISO 9001:2008 certified company.

Candidates can apply online before 17th February 2012 and after this, take a print out of this application form and send it along with other required documents before 25th February 2012.
221 vacancies are in Technical Department for Junior Manager ( Trainee – 134 posts ) and Assistant Manager ( Trainee- 87 posts ) in the discipline of Mechanical/ Production/ Electrical/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Metallurgy/ Civil/ Chemical. 17 posts are in Finance & Accounts department for Junior Manager ( Trainee ) and Assistant Manager ( Trainee ) and 5 posts are in Administration & Personnel department for Junior Manager ( Trainee ) and Assistant Manager ( Trainee ).
Age limit: Candidates age should be maximum 34 years for the post of Junior Engineer ( Trainee ) and age should not be more than 38 years for the post of Assistant manager ( Trainee ).
Qualification: Candidates applying for the post in Technical department should posses degree in the relevant branch. While for the post in Accounts department candidates should have passes exam of ICWAI/ CA. Candidates with PG degree/ diploma in the relevant branch is required for the posts in Administration & Personnel department. 3 years of post qualification experience is required for Junior Engineer ( Trainee ) and 5 years of post qualification experience is essential for Assistant Manager ( Trainee ).
