Hindustan Insecticides Limited was founded in 1954 by the Government of India under the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers. It is an ISO:9001 and ISO:14001 certified company where good quality of pesticides products are produced. It is the largest producer of DDT in the whole world with 3 manufacturing units located Near Cochin, Mumbai and Punjab. It produces products not only for India but also exports its agro products to many countries.
Hindustan Insecticides Limited has published an advertisement for the recruitment of talented professionals for its organization. Interested and eligible candidates can avail this opportunity by applying in a prescribed format latest by 7th May 2012. Citizenship of India is very necessary for applying. All the following posts are on contract basis. Candidates are required to send application form along with attested copies of certificates of educational qualifications and recent passport size photographs to the address of Hindustan Insecticides Limited, P.O. Udyogamandal, Dist. Ernakulum, Kochi, Kerala. Training is for a period of 12 months.
Total 26 vacancies are available for the post of Apprenticeship Training. Out of these, 2 posts are for those who posses degree of BE/ B.Tech in the discipline of Civil and Mechanical. 14 are for Diploma Holders in the discipline of Chemical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electrical, Civil and Commercial Practice. Rest 11 posts are for Vocal Higher Secondary pass in the discipline of Accountancy & Auditing, Marketing & Salesmanship, Office Secretary ship & Stenography and Civil Construction & Maintenance.
Stipend: BE/ B.tech holder will get stipend of Rs.3560/- per month while Rs.2530/- per month is fixed as stipend for Diploma Holders and Rs. 1970/- per month is for candidates who have passed vocational Higher Secondary.
