HPSSSB Recruitment 2012 for Various Posts


Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Board is also known as HPSSSB. It is an organisation of established by the Government of Himachal Pradesh. It is basically for the recruitment of various posts in different departments of the state government. Its office is at Hamirpur.

Applications are invited by HPSSSB for various posts and for this, HPSSSB has released an advertisement in its official website. Only Indian Nationals can apply and that too latest by 12th January 2012 by sending an application form in a prescribed format to Secretary, Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Board, Hamirpur [ Himachal Pradesh ] PIN-177001. Details about the posts are given below. Candidates applying for any of the following posts should be more than 18 years and should be less than 45 years of age.

1 post is for Senior Scale Stenographer, 8 are for Senior Assistants in Accounts Department, 5 vacancies are for Superintendent in the department of divisional accounts, 765 posts are for Clerks, 40 are for Lineman, 2 are for Junior Auditor, 1068 are for the post of PGT for subject of English, Commerce, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Music-vocal, Music-Instrumental and Informatics Practices. 46 vacancies are for Junior Engineer in the discipline of Civil, Electrical and Mechanical. 25 posts are for Clerks, 1 is for steno Typists, 1 for Junior Scale Stenographer, 237 are for Ayurvedic Pharmacists.


Candidates has to send 1 window envelop, 1 passport size photographs and acknowledgment card with the application form.
