Karnataka Bank Recruitment 2012 for Specialised Officers


Karnataka Bank Limited is recognised as a A1+ class scheduled commercial bank. It is a privates sector bank. It was established on 18th February 1924 at Mangalore. It provide various services like loans, credit card facilities, saving facility, investment on vehicle schemes and many more services. At present, it has 480 branches situated at different parts of the country and around 5850 employees are attached with the Karnataka Bank. It is a leading financial service institution in India.

Karnataka Bank needs experienced and dedicated professionals for the benefit of the customers and also for the smooth functioning of the organisation. Only Indian Citizens with the domicile of Karnataka can apply and that too latest by 20th February 2012. Mode of applying is offline only. Selection will be through an interview and all the following vacancies are for the probation period of 1 year.

5 vacancies are for Chartered Accountant ( Scale-III ), 1 post is vacant for Dealer in Treasury Operation ( Scale-IV ), 1 is for Assistant Company Secretary ( Scale-III ), 1 is for Chief Security Officer ( Scale-IV ), 2 posts are for Technical Officers-Engineer ( Scale-III ).
Age limit: Candidates applying for the post of Dealer should not be more than 40 years of age and maximum 50 years of age is required for Chief Security Officer while for rest of the positions candidates age should be below 35 years.
Qualification: Candidates with degree of CA and at least 4 years of experience can apply for the post of Chartered Accountants. While for the post of Dealer in Treasury Operations, candidates should posses PG degree along with banking experience. Associate Membership from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India along with minimum 3 years of practical experience can apply for the post of Assistant Company Secretary. for the post of Chief Security Officer, candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in defence service. Post graduation in science with the knowledge of networking is required for the post of Technical Officers.
