KPTCL Recruitment 2012 for Assistant Lineman

Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited or KPTCL was started on 1st August 1999 by the Government of Karnataka. Its head office is at Bengaluru. It was mainly formed for the transmission and distribution of electricity in the state of Karnataka. It is managed by Karnataka Electricity Board. KPTCL purchase electricity from Karnataka Power Corporation Limited [ KPC ] and NTPC. It has 5 zones, 15 circles, 60 divisions and 275 sub divisions.

KPTCL is looking for candidates having best qualification and experience for the smooth functioning of the organisation. And so, KPTCL invites applications form Indian Nationals for the post of Assistant Lineman for its various zonal offices. Only male candidates with the required qualification and capability can apply and that too latest by 11th January 2012. Mode of application is online only and applications send through nay other means will not be accepted.

Total 1680 vacancies are for the post of Assistant Lineman for the trade of Electrician and Electronics/ Electronic Mechanic under the pay scale of Rs. 7950-16790/-. Out of this, 580 posts are for BESCOM ( Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited ), 567 are for HESCOM ( Hubli Electricity Supply Company Limited ), 346 are for MESCOM ( Mangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited ), 187 are for CESCOM ( Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Company Limited ). For this post, candidates should posses certificate of ITI in the trade of Electrician/ Electronics/ Electronic Mechanic and should be proficient in local language that is Kannada language. Candidates age should be more than 18 years and should be less than 35 years.
