MP High Court Recruitment 2012 for District Judge


Madhya Pradesh High Court or MP High Court was setup on 2nd January 1936 at Nagpur. The strength of sanctioned judges of MP High Court is 42 and is authorised by the constitution of India. Its decisions can be appealed to Supreme Court of India. The principal seat of the court is at Jabalpur. MP High Court has 2 permanent benches located at Indore and at Gwalior.

A vacancy notification has been released for the post of District Judges in MP High Court in the cadre of Higher Judicial Service by direct recruitment basis. Applications are invited from Indian Nationals who posses the domicile of Madhya Pradesh. Interested candidates can apply before 14th May 2012 and mode of application is online only.

Total 42 posts are for District Judge ( Entry Level ) under the pay scale of Rs.51550-63070/-. Candidates with minimum 35 years and maximum 48 years of age can apply for this post. He/ She should have practiced as an Advocate fro minimum of 7 years and should have perfect health.

Selection will based on Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Judgment Writing & Interview. Preliminary Examination will be on 1st July 2012 at 10.00 Am – 1.00 PM at the centres located at Jabalpur, Indore and Gwalior. After clearing preliminary exam, shortlisted candidates has to appear in Main Exam which will be on 26th August 2012 at Jabalpur. Time will be 9.30 AM-12.30 AM for 1st paper and at 2.30 PM-5.30 PM for 2nd paper. After valuation of this examination, the test of Judgment Writing & Interview will be held at Jabalpur.
