MTNL Recruitment 2012 for Senior Management Trainees

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited or MTNL was founded on 1st April 1986 by the Government of India. It is a Navratna public sector enterprise with its major operation in Delhi and Mumbai. It is a state owned telecommunication service provider. MTNL is expanding its operations in overseas markets also. It is recognised as a Asia’s largest telecommunication company.

MTNL is looking for candidates having best qualification and experience for the post of senior Management Trainees in telecom and marketing. Applications are invited from Indian Nationals. Interested and energetic candidates can apply before 26th December 2011 by sending an application form in a prescribed format.

Total 40 vacancies are available for the post of Senior Management Trainees in Telecom and Marketing. These posts are E5 level under the pay scale of Rs. 29100-54500/-. Candidates applying for this post should posses the degree of BE/ B.Tech with minimum 60% marks along with 2-4 years of experience in the relevant field at managerial level. Maximum age required for internal candidates is 40 years while it is 30 years for external candidates.

Selection will be through written test which will be for the duration of 3 hours and will contain 3 sections, that is Section I, Section II and Section III. Section I will for Management Aptitude for 135 marks, Section II for Cognitive Ability for 90 marks and Section III will be for Professional knowledge for 75 marks. Written exam will be on 4th March 2012.
