Narcotics Control Bureau or NCB was formed on 17th March 1986 by the Government of India under the Ministry of Finance as an intelligence agency for fighting drug trafficking and abuse of illegal substances. Its head quarter is located at New Delhi. Its various offices are located at Indore, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram, Jammu, Ahmadabad, Varanasi, Chandigarh, Jodhpur, Imphal and Patna. NCB is basically for the implementation of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act 1985.
NCB invites applications from Indian Nationals for the post of Computer Operator in Group ‘B’. This post is on deputation basis and selected candidates will get placement in any of its offices. 1 vacancy is for the post of Computer Programmer under the pay scale of Rs.9300-34800/- along with grade pay of Rs.4800/-.
Qualification: Candidates should posses degree of MCA or degree in Computer Technology/Computer Engineering/ Computer Science along with minimum 1 year of experience in computer application and programming OR should posses masters degree in Statistics/ Operation Research/ Mathematics with at least 2 years of programming experience OR should be graduate in Statistics/ Physics/ Operation Research/ Commerce/ Mathematics with minimum 5 years of experience in computer application.
Age limit: For this post, candidates age should be below 56 years.
