An organisation which assist and advice state and central government on academic matters related to school education is NCERT. It’s full form is National Council of Educational Research and Training. It was formed in 1961 by the Government of India under the Ministry of Education and Social Welfare. Research, development, training, publication, extension and exchange programmes are the main function of NCERT.

4 vacancies are for the post of DTP Operator, 1 is for Assistant Editor, 2 posts are for Copy Editors and 2 are for Proof Reader.
Eligibility: Candidates applying for the post of DTP Operator, Copy Editor or Proof Reader should be below 30 years of age while maximum 35 years of age is required for the post of Assistant Editor. For all the positions, minimum qualification should be graduation in the relevant discipline.
Salary: Candidates selected for the post of DTP Operator will get salary of Rs.18000/- per month, Assistant Editor is with salary of Rs.21000/- per month, Rs.11700/- is for Copy Editor and Rs.8100/- per month is for Proof Reader.
Selection will be through interview which is going to be held on 16th January 2012 for the post of DTP Operator, on 17th January 2012 for Assistant Editor and on 18th January 2012 for other posts at the venue of Publication Department, Ambedkar Khand at 10.00 AM.
