NIFTEM Recruitment 2012 for Teaching and Non Teaching Posts
National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management or NIFTEM was setup by the Government of India under the Ministry of Food Processing Industries. It is a centre of excellence which offers education and perform research activities in the disciplines food science and technology. NIFTEM provides business incubation services with its ultra modern pilot plant for processing of fruits and vegetables, dairy, meat and grain processing. It is located at New Delhi.
Applications are invited by NIFTEM for filling up various teaching and non teaching post on contract basis at an attractive pay scale. Candidates with the citizenship of India and required qualification can apply before 25th February 2012. 1 vacancy is for the post of Professor, 5 posts are vacant for Associate Professor, 12 are for Assistant professor, 1 is for Controller of Examination and 1 vacancy is for Deputy Controller in Finance & Accounts department. Faculty positions are for the department of Basic & Allied Science, Food Business Management & Entrepreneurship & Development, Food Science & Technology, Engineering and Agriculture & Environmental Science.
Pay scale: Post of Professor, Associate Professor and Controller of Examination are under the pay scale of Rs.37400-67000/- while Assistant Professor and Deputy Controller are under the pay scale of Rs.15600-39100/- with relevant grade pay.
Qualification: Ph.D qualification is desirable for all the positions. Beside this, candidates applying for the post of Professor should posses minimum 10 years of teaching/ research experience. Minimum 8 years of experience is essential for Associate Professor. While for the post of Assistant Professor, candidates must have cleared National Eligibility Test conducted by UGC. PG Degree with minimum 55% marks and minimum 15 years of experience is required for Controller of Examination. Candidates with degree of M.Com along with MBA degree and minimum 10 years of experience can apply for the post of Deputy Controller.
