A lignite mining generating company in India is Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited. It is commonly known as NLC. NLC was formed in 1956 by the Government of India under the Department of Human Resource with its head quarter at Chennai. It operated the largest open-pit lignite mines in India. It is recognised as a ‘Navratna’ public sector enterprise. Around 18800 employees are giving their best for the betterment of the company.
A recruitment notification has been issued by NLC for the post of Graduate Executive trainees under various disciplines. Only Indian nationals are eligible and can apply online only from 18th January 2012 to 1st February 2012. Applications send through any other means will not be accepted. Selection will be through written test and interview. After applying online, candidates has to send system generated Registration-cum-Application form before 8th February 2012. Total 128 vacancies are for the post of Graduate Executive Trainees for the discipline of Mining, Mechanical, Electrical, Legal, Public Relations, Control & Instrumentation, Computer, Civil, Finance, Human Resource and Public Secretarial.
Qualification:Candidates with degree in the relevant discipline along with minimum 50% marks can only apply.
Age limit: Candidates age should be below 35 years as on 1st January 2012.
Pay scale: Selected candidates has to go through a training for a period of 1 year and will get stipend under the pay scale of Rs.16400-3%-40500/- during training period. After completing training, successful candidates will be appointed in grade E-2 under the pay scale of Rs.20600-3%-46500/-.
