The very first training academy established by the Indian Army is Officers Training Academy OTA. It is located at Chennai and was setup in 1963. Indian Army’s second academy was inaugurated recently in Gaya with first batch of 130 cadets. It is a premiere training institution which provide training to the officers for the Short Service Commission.
Applications are invited by Officers Training Academy, Gaya for filling up of various posts. Only Indian nationals can apply and that too before 10th March 2012 by sending an application form in a prescribed format to the address of Commandant Officers Training Academy, Gaya, Bihar-923005. Qualification: Matriculation is the minimum qualification required for all the above positions.
Age limit: Candidates should not be less than 18 years and even should not be more than 27 years of age.
Pay scale: All the above posts are under the pay scale of Rs.5200-20200/- with relevant grade pay.
