An industrial setup – Indian Ordnance Factories Board was established by the Government of India under the Ministry of Defence on 2nd April 1962. It is basically engaged in producing arms, equipments for military applications, ammunition etc. Its head office is located at Kolkata. At present, it operates 40 ordnance factories along with 10 training institutions, 4 regional controller of safety and 3 regional marketing centres. Its ordnance factories are located at the states of Bihar, Maharashtra, Orissa, Chandigarh, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal,Uttaranchal, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.

1 post is available for Primary Teacher, 2 posts are for Store keeper and 5 vacancies are for Durwan. Post of primary Teacher and Store Keeper are under the pay scale of Rs.9300-34800/- along with grade pay of Rs.4200/- and post of Durwan is under the pay scale of Rs.5200-20200/- with Rs.1800/- as grade pay.
Qualification: Pass in higher secondary with degree/ diploma in education and minimum 2 years of post qualification experience is essential for the post of Teacher. For the post of Store Keeper, candidates should have basic knowledge of computer application with ‘O’ level certificate as per DOEACC. Age limit should be between 18-33 years for both of these positions. Matriculation pass with minimum 3 years of experience is required for the post of Durwan and candidates age should be between 20-27 years.
