PSCWB Recruitment 2012 for Engineers and Officers
Constitution of India has formed West Bengal Public Service Commission or PSCWB. Its head office is at Kolkata. It make recruitment through annual examinations. It is also a 3 stage competitive selection process. It include a preliminary exam, a main exam and then interview. PSCWB make recruitments for the department of police services, tax department and various other. It consists of a chairman and 5 other members.
Public Service Commission, West Bengal has published an advertisement having advertisement number 4/2012 for the recruitment to various posts. Interested and eligible candidates who are citizens of India can grab this chance up to 15th May 2012. The posts are on contractual basis and may be extended according to the performance of the candidates.
4 posts are for Inspector of Factories in West Bengal Factories Service under Labour Department, 100 vacancies are for Veterinary Officer in Block Animal Health Centre and Additional Block Animal Health Centre in West Bengal Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Service under Animal Resource Development Department, 10 posts are for Assistant Engineer in the West Bengal Service of Engineers under Public Works Department. All these posts are under the pay scale of Rs.15600-42000/-.
Eligibility: For the post of Inspector of Factories, candidates should posses medical qualification along with diploma in Industrial Health/ Public Health and also candidates age should be below 35 years. Candidates applying for the post of Veterinary Officer should posses degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry and should not be more than 32 years of age and also should be registered with a Veterinary Council. Degree in Electrical Engineering with 1 year of Post Graduate practical training and maximum 32 years of age is required for the post of Assistant Engineer.
Selection will be made through competitive examination followed by a personal interview.
