Staff Selection Commission or SSC was established by the name as Subordinate Services Commission on 4th November 1975 by the Government of India in the department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms. It make recruitment to group B positions. Its head quarter is at New Delhi and it also has 7 regional offices situated at Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Allahabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Guwahati.
Job seeker has a new opportunity to get placement in SSC Karnataka Kerala Region under different departments. SSCKKR has released an advertisement no. KKR-02/2012 for the recruitment of various positions. Only Indian Nationals can apply and that too before 25th May 2012. Selection will be through proficiency test and personal interview.
Total 65 posts are vacant. Out of these, 18 posts are for Technical Officer in Photo litho in Government of India Press, 2 posts are for Assistant Welfare Administrator in Office of the Welfare Commissioner Labour Welfare Organization, 1 post is for Technical Assistant in regional office for Health & Family Welfare, 47 posts are for Data Entry Operator grade B in the department of AFHQ and Signal Intelligence Directorate, 1 post is for Laboratory Assistant in Regional Centre of Organic Farming under Ministry of Agriculture.
Pay scale: Posts are under the pay scale of Rs.9300-34800 and Rs.5200-20200/- with appropriate pay scale.
Candidates has to send application form in a prescribed format along with Central Recruitment Fee Stamp of Rs.50/- affixed and clearly canceled on the application form, 1 recent passport size photograph, 2 self addressed envelops, caste certificate, attested copies of certificates and mark sheets, experience certificate, age proof certificate.
