On 24th October 1979, Central Bank of India formed Surguja Kshetriya Gramin Bank. Its head office is at Ambikapur. It has adopted Core Banking Solution [ CBS ] for the benefit of customers. It was basically formed with the aim to upraise the weaker section of the society and also to encourage banking habits among people. Its all the branches have modern techniques for banking system.
Surguja Kshetriya Gramin Bank is looking for candidates having best qualification and experience according to the advertisement published in its official website. Only Indian Nationals can apply and that too latest by 19th January 2012. Mode of application is online only and applications send through any other means will not be accepted.
Total 51 vacancies are available. Out of this, 13 posts are for Scale I Officers and 38 posts are for Clerk-cum-Cashier.
Salary and pay scale: Candidates selected for the post of Scale I Officers will get starting emolument of Rs.24164/- per month under the pay scale of Rs.14500-25700/- while clerks will get starting emolument of Rs.12000/- per month under the pay scale of Rs.7200-19300/-.
Eligibility: Degree with proficiency in local language is necessary for both the posts. But for Scale I Officer, knowledge of computers and higher qualifications in engineering/ business administration/ law/ agriculture/ veterinary science/ CA/ Horticulture etc will be preferred. While candidates applying for the post of Clerks can even posses diploma in banking. Age limit between 18-26 years of age is required for both the above positions.
Selection will be through objective type written test and interview. Written test will be for the duration of 2.30 hours and will contain 200 questions with total 200 marks. It will be on 19th February 2012 and will be on 4th March 2012 for clerks at the centre of Ambikapur. After this, shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
